I'm very pleased to be able to add this opportunity to the wiki as it comes about due to an overload of awesome ideas and a lack of time to work on them.

LearnAsOne has only one member of staff, Steve, and everyone else is a volunteer: web developers, designer, copywriters, PR people, video producers, people helping with the research in Zambia etc. etc.

So to help Steve (aka me) I'd like to offer you the chance of a volunteer internship - with a difference. It will be completely virtual. You can be based anywhere in the world just as long as you have access to Skype, msn and email. You're office could be a coffee shop, your bedroom or the beach. All I ask is that you are enthusiastic, have a good grasp of new technology and the drive to project manage some of the items on the to-do list. Help will be at hand from myself and from other volunteers, but the opportunity will be completely what you make of it.

If you a minimum of have two or three months of spare time and would like to apply then please email me (Steve) - volunteer at learnasone dot org - and in no more than two paragraphs let me know what would make you a great intern. Please attach your CV at the same time and a link to your twitter profile if you have one.

Interviews will be conducted via Skype (so please send your Skype ID with your application).

- Set up and organise first school kids breakfast

- Get the LearnAsOne online shop off the ground

- Set up and promote eBay for Charity

- Social networking / community fundraising - finding new supporters and creating tools so it's easy for them to get involved.

- Set up and work out a marketing plan for Everyclick.com 

So please be assured that I won't be asking you to photocopy, answer the phone or do mind numbing admin. You'll be taking on and managing important projects that will have a real impact on LearnAsOne and funding the work in Africa.
