Overview

A very simple idea this. Although LearnAsOne is an online idea and all the stories and feedback from the schools will be published on the Internet (LAO website, YouTube, Facebook etc.) it makes sense to tell people about the charity in as many ways as possible.

The idea of FlyerAsOne is to create an A4 flyer to promote the first trip to Zambia in May '09 which can be posted online and supporters can print and distribute as they wish. (e.g. around their school, workplace, in sports stadiums, their local pub etc.)

Objectives 

- To drive people to the website [homepage] and encourage them to make a donation to the first school AND/OR tell more people about LearnAsOne.

Key message

Donate to a school in Africa and see your money in action (through regular videos and photographic updates from the community you are helping).

These updates will come in the form of stories that follow 3 or 4 key members of the community. (e.g. a teacher, the community chief, a student.) Supporters will also get the opportunity to ask these people questions via blog comments and twitter which will be answered through videos posted onto YouTube.

Possible idea

- Create a version of the flyer (along side standard A4) in the form of a paper airplane which people can distribute by flying it in the direction of others.

- 'Loose' brand guidelines can be found here (includes a link to the logo).

- You can use an imagery from our Flickr stream (plus any other stock imagery you can legally access for free). Imagery is very limited at the moment but this will improve following the first trip in May.
